I have decided to use the poems of Carl Sandburg published in his book Cornhuskers.
Cornhuskers was published in 1918 by Henry Holt and Company. The text was re-issued on the internet for free use in Ann Arbor, MI through the University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative.

He worked a great deal of his life in wheat fields and plains of Kansas, perhaps there is a relation to the title of the book.
